All sessions are kept private and confidential between the client and therapist. The only exceptions to this rule are when the therapist feels there is a danger of the client harming themselves or is a potential threat to others. In certain circumstances the case of a client may be discussed with a supervisor, but details of the client are not disclosed. The notes are solely used for the purpose of maintaining therapeutic practice and not disclosed to any other parties other than the above mentioned.

Anti-discrimination policy / code of ethics

Healing Horizons does not discriminate in terms of age, gender, marital status, religion, race or political beliefs and follows strict guidelines set by the National Counselling Society and BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists). Cancellation policy

If you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible. The required cancellation period is 48 hours. Therefore is 48 hours or more notice are given then no cancellation fee will be charged and we will arrange an alternative appointment time.
24 hours notice or less may result in a 50% charge for the session.

If we need to cancel for any reason, you will be given as much notice as possible and we will rearrange an appointment as soon as the next appointment is available.

If a client misses a session, then the full fee will be charged.

Notification of cancellation may be made by text or email.

If you are late for an appointment up to 15 minutes, then the session will continue for the remainder of the session. If you are over 15 minutes, then the session may be cancelled and need to be rearranged.
