Reiki Training Level Two – 2nd Degree Usui Reiki

We offer Reiki training from beginners at Reiki level one, to Practitioner and Master Teacher Level.

Our Reiki training is thorough and will prepare you to work with Reiki at all levels.  Facilitated by Reiki Master/Teacher Joanne Britton, each training course for the three levels of Usui Reiki are held over a weekend and full continued support is offered to you after your training weekends.  All training at the Academy is fully accredited and your certificate at Reiki level two will allow you to obtain professional practice insurance so that you may begin to offer treatments to clients.

You will be learning Traditional Usui Reiki, which has a purity and simplicity typical of the original Japanese practice.

Reiki is the connection between the divine life force energy “Rei” and “Ki” personal energy. Reiki, as practised in the Western world, is a system of healing for the self and of others, using this “universal life energy”.

To move on to 2nd degree Reiki, you need to have taken First Degree already, and we recommend that you leave three months, at least between your First and Second Degree courses. This ensures that you have become very familiar with energy work, and have completed a significant amount of self-healing. If you have learnt Reiki One from another teacher from a different lineage, that’s no problem.  You will be provided with all of our Reiki Level One materials in advance of your training weekend.

You will have already experienced the profound sense of inner peace and calm that Reiki practice brings to your life, and maybe experienced deep healing and spiritual awakening.  At 2nd Degree Reiki you will learn about the Reiki symbols, together with meditations to deepen and focus your own healing and connection to the energy of the symbols.

You will also learn how to treat others in a professional capacity and how to use your intuition when you treat clients; how to allow the energy to guide you. Working intuitively is an important part of 2nd Degree Reiki.  The practice of distant healing is also learned at this level of Reiki, which is a really beautiful and very fulfilling way of working.
