Sound Bath Events

Come and enjoy a magical sound healing experience.  Our Sound Bath Events are facilitated by Dawn Kinsella, Priestess of Avalon and The Temple of The Blue Rose, Sound Healing Practitioner and Tutor at the Academy.  Dawn creates sacred Temple space for these deeply immersive, ethereal experiences.  Trained at Glastonbury Goddess Temple, Dawn uses a range of sacred sounding instruments; crystal and Tibetan bowls, Koshi chimes, ocean drum, gongs together with her voice to take you on a journey into deep peace, healing and transformation.

During a sound bath, intentionally chosen sound frequencies resonate with these internal vibrations, helping restore natural rhythms and coherence. This resonance effect is similar to tuning a musical instrument, bringing the body and mind back into harmony.  Sound baths engage the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and lowering cortisol levels, which allows the body to enter into deep states of calm and restoration.

Frequencies emitted during a sound bath can help release emotional blockages stored within the body, gently dissolving anxiety, sadness, grief, and fear, leading to emotional clarity and improved mood. The rich, layered sounds guide the brain into meditative states (alpha and theta brainwave frequencies), encouraging deep meditation, clarity of mind, and heightened states of awareness. The vibrations penetrate deeply into tissues and cells, potentially helping to relieve physical tension, pain, inflammation, and facilitating healing by stimulating circulation and enhancing cellular rejuvenation.

Held in our beautiful Academy room, these evenings will have limited capacity to 10 participants, so booking is essential.  We provide plush mats, cushions and blankets to ensure your complete comfort and rest.  Please arrive approximately 15-20 minute before the event begins so that you can get comfortable in your space.
